Milestones
Since Galaxy of Homes was founded in 2016 by Vikash and Madhurita Jayaswal, we have had our fair share of achievements and milestones. What started as a single company soon became one of seven companies under the Galaxy group.
Driven by the growth of Galaxy of Homes, directors Vikash and Madhurita set up Galaxy MakeOvers and Galaxy Letts in 2018. This is when Galaxy Group took over the ambitious project of restoring Grimsby’s legendary Fishermen’s Cottages. 2018 also awarded our directors the prize for medium-sized business of the year and the British Indian Awards for their exceptional work in the UK.
After arriving in the UK, directors Vikash and Madhurita Jayaswal started Galaxy of Homes to be financially independent and improve the housing market in Northern England.
Looking to maintain a high standard of service, Galaxy MakeOvers (refurbishment department) and Galaxy Letts (letting department) were incorporated under the Galaxy group.
Vikash and Madhurita Jayswal won the British Indian Awards in 2019 for the best medium-sized business category.
As Galaxy of Homes witnessed exponential growth, our directors decided to open a branch in their hometown of Kolkata, India. This branch handles operations and support for the UK team.
For handling all accounting services including formation of a limited company, ROI calculations, bookkeeping, filing tax returns for our clients, Galaxy Financials was founded.
To fulfil our corporate social responsibility activities, Galaxy Foundation was formed in the UK as a non-profit organisation.
On November 14th, 2023, the Jayaswal family successfully reached Everest Base Camp as part of the fundraiser for Galaxy Gurukul.
Galaxy Foundation got its recognition as a charitable organisation from the UK Charity Commission on November 30th, 2023.
